The conflict in Libya is getting messier by the day. The rebel forces advance and then have to retreat as Gaddafi forces get the upper hand. Without the coaltion air strikes the rebels I believe would have been defeated already.
The consequences for the West if Gaddafi stays in power could be disasterous. He'll happily sell his oil to the East, China, India etc and cut off supplies to Europe. WHAT PRICE PETROL THEN?
